Restaurants in Cornwall Cornwall is right at the bottom of the UK, it’s surrounded by water on three sides, during the summer it’s a magnet for tourists, and because of this it boasts some of the best restaurants in the UK outside of London. In fact some of the top chefs have restaurants in the county, people like Jamie Oliver, Rick Styne, and other such names, these names may not mean much if you do not live in the UK, but believe me they are the best.
And they all have their own television programs, so their names are fairly universal.
In Cornwall they do have a certain advantage in that we have some of the best ingredients on our doorstep
the fish is second to none and can be caught cooked and on your plate within the hour. And because the climate is so mild spring comes earlier than in the rest of the UK, so the flavor of the vegetables always seems that much better, and seasonal vegetables are that much earlier. The climate is also conducive to wine producing, there are several vineyards in the area producing some of the best wines able to compete with wines world wide. So if you want to eat well and have a real good holiday I do recommend coming to Cornwall and sampling what they produce.
